EN: 🇺🇸 INSTAGRAM vs REALITY (Swipe)
👉🏼 Spring is very beautiful, but it’s very fleeting and it also rains a lot. I live in Brooklyn and I went to Roosevelt Island two weeks ago hoping to find the trees in bloom, but there was practically nothing of the famous cherry blossoms, I decided to return a few days later, but there was a lot of rain for several days in NY, “I know is good for the flowering of the trees”, but I was afraid that when I returned the flowers would already be on the ground coz’ so much rain, so I went a week after when the rain had stopped, but the sky was still very cloudy, and as you see colors are not appreciated as sunny days, 🥴 but I was hopping at least to find some flowers in the trees.
I got up early thinking that I would not find anybody, and when I arrived there was only one person in the area, but as you can see in the second photo there is always a curious person who stands in the same place where you’re taking photos no matter how immense the space is.
Come on!? I know it’s public areas, but the man stayed there just contemplating the flowers as in a meditative state.🤔
I tried to move to another tree, but many trees were already without flowers due to the rains, so I kept taking my photos to see if he moved to another tree to continue his meditation.
Me: Hey!! There are more than 20 trees here to do your meditation and I arrive at 7 am before you! 🙄

La primavera es muy bella, pero es muy fugaz y también llueve mucho. Yo vivo en Brooklyn y fui hace dos semanas a Roosevelt Island esperando encontrar los árboles florecidos, pero prácticamente no había nada de las famosas flores de cerezo, decidí volver unos…. ( Sigue leyendo abajo👇🏼)
