Thank you, Roosevelt Island Starbucks, for the opportunity to do this window art. It was the biggest window I’ve painted on so far. This window art is dedicated to Dr. Tim Keller, who has inspired in so many people a love and appreciation for Tolkien. There is always hope, even in dark times.
The last picture shows my view when painting. I always paint from the inside, which requires writing and drawing backwards. It’s especially challenging writing straight and the same size on a large window!
