Visited Blackwell Island Light today on Roosevelt Island 🗽🏙
I love lighthouses and how their purpose is to help guide ships through the darkness safe to shore! It reminds me so much of what the Savior said in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Just like those ships needed the lighthouse to guide them safely home, we need our Savior to be that light to guide us back home to our Father in Heaven! I’m so grateful for the light the Savior has been in my life!
